Need for Speed Joins the 100m Club

EA are very happy to announce the Need for Speed series has joined perhaps the most exclusive club in the gaming world as the franchise pushes over the 100M mark, making it the best-selling racing brand in the gaming world. The ultra-exclusive club currently consists of fellow-EA stablemate The Sims, Nintendo's Mario and Pokemon with Tetris completing the set.
When speaking about the achievement Frank Gibeau, president EA Games Label, said: "Few videogame franchises ever reach the 100M units mark, so this is a huge honor. We have millions of fans to thank for driving us to this milestone...With the launch of Need for Speed SHIFT and the upcoming release of Need for Speed NITRO, we hope to continue to deliver the most entertaining, action-packed racing experiences."
