How can i play

well, i wanted to have a look at the game, and tried it out on a friend's pc. I go to plug in my wheel and i find out it sees it as an x360 controller. in other words, if i don't use either the keyboard or a console controller, it doesn't register any presses while in game. yes it responds when i go to CONFIGURE it, but it DOES NOT respond correctly when I go to USE IT in the game. This results in the character's death moments after the game starts.

Once again, EA SCREWED UP MONUMENTALLY, and people should lose their jobs over this kind of stuff. So, if anyone's reading this and they are about to buy it for the PC... save your money and don't buy this game. Funny how none of the reviews on the web mention this. It's a very important part of the game and it's gleaned right over. as if using a wheel is a foreign concept to a driving game.

So in conclusion, do not buy this game. save your money and spend it on something else.

K, on the cars page the purple "challenger" says its from 71, but is it not a CHARGER ? Cause it looks identical to one

Bring back the Ferrari and lock split screen please and replys. I love those things soo much and it will be pretty cool to drive the Porsche SUV in Need for speed hot pursit. It can be used as a roadblock but not drive it, Cmon at least make it an downloadable car/suv and motorcycles will be a cool twist. I know im not the first guy to thing of that.

I gotta say, it looks pretty awesome. I'll admit, it doesn't look a whole lot different than Hot Pursuit. Although, I admire the attempt at a storyline. All in all, I'm pretty excited for it. My only concerns are I hope they bring back car customization. And of course, local split screen.

I'm not really sure that drag racing would work for THE RUN, but it is an idea. :)

That hill at the end where the car flew... thats from need for speed II !!! i used to play that track all the time with my McLaren F1 trying to fly as high as possible. It's so awesome they put it back in there.

please put back local multiplayer on the same system, that has been missing in this series way too long now, like come on, local multiplayer on the same system rocked, in underground, underground 2 and most wanted.....bring back local split screen multiplayer

Well, The gameplay seems a little bit simple doesn't it? And the graphics...well...they look kinda real, but I still can't spot much difference between Hot Pursuit graphics either, so idk, the graphics maybe didn't majorly change or it is just because the video Quality.? :/ I am gonna play but only since it is something new...
