My name is Darren McNamara, people call me "D-MAC". I'm 26 years old, I'm from Ireland and I am a professional Drifter and Racecar driver.

I'm currently contracted to drive for Falken Tire Corporation in the United States in the US Formula Drift Championship and operate MCNSPORT.com in Ireland where we run our European programme in the Prodrift Series

After becoming Prodrift Irish Campion in 2006. I started my US career in Irwindale, CA. where I had qualified for the D1 World Championship 06 invitational, I finished 5th overall and surprised a lot of people in the little SR20 powered AE86. My first year of driving in the US FormulaD series (2007) I competed in my own AE86 in Falken colors and won the coveted "Rookie of the Year" title ahead of former World Champion Mike Riuji! In 2008 I was asked to drive a custom built and brand new Saturn SKY, complete with a racing 6.7L V8 producing over 800BHP!

Previous racing achievements include:

-          Multiple Winning Circuit & Off-Road racing Champion,

-          Winner of the first Ireland vs. UK drift exhibition 2005 Championship

-          Winner of official D1GP driver search for the battle against Japan in ‘05

-          Winner of 2006 ProDrift Championship (Recognised as Europe’s leading Drift Championship)

-          Rated Europe's no.1 driver by ProDrift Europe & Japanese D1GP Series

-          Youngest ever driver to reach Top 8 in a official D1GP (at the age of 21)

-    Rookie of the year 2008 in the US FormulaDrift Championship
