Overview

Drag racing has been in many Need for Speed's in its long history but never like this. Your goal, get to the finish line as fast as you possibly can!

In SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED, players will only be able to use the manual gear change so that they can really feel what it’s like to be in the driver’s seat. This means the traction control features will be forced off and the HUD will display a new rev counter and gear indicator.

The rival for Drag is none other then drag Champion Chris Rado and he'll be driving the WORLD Racing Pro-FWD Reaper SCION tC. Let's see if you can race the quarter mile in under 9 seconds!

Driver: Chris Rado

Famous for his devil-may-care racing style and colorful personality on the time attack series, Chris Rado pilots one of the most unique cars you'll see in SHIFT 2 Unleashed: the Team Need for Speed Scion tC, which boasts more than 1,200 horsepower.

Rado is also the owner of WORLD Racing, a professional drag race, time attack and show circuit team. In 2009, while behind the wheel of his beloved tC, he set the world record for a front-wheel-drive car with a 6.94s 1/4 mile.

The Scion tC may look like a little two-door economy car, but when outfitted with the right performance gear, look out, because you’ll get it with both barrels if you underestimate the power of this mighty-mite in SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED.

The WORLD Racing Pro-FWD Reaper SCION tC is piloted by the Drag rival, Chris Rado. In 2009, while behind the wheel of his beloved tC, he set the world record for a front-wheel-drive car with a 6.94s 1/4 mile.
