Last night, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit was featured on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, with producer Jesse Abney's Koenigsegg CCX escaping from Jimmy's Bugatti Veyron cop cruiser despite the presence of a helicopter. Check out the video for all the action, as well as a cool revelation about career mode.

NFSClassic: Looks to me like they've graphically updated HP2's tracks. As for handling model, judging by the look of it, and the fact that Criterion made this, i would think it would probably be closer along the lines of BO: Paradise. It looks fantastic though!!

Spoiler going up on Veyron? Nice.

someone pelase ban the spammers.
can we get back on topic now?

heh, why is it anyone with Aviators automatically looks like a rozzer, even ugly ol me! Still the Coolest Shades in the world though.
Pity he quit, he nearly had the quy, perhaps it was on EA's orders as the Busted Cutscenes Probably arent ready yet, only the slow mo wreck weve seen before. i dunno,
looks a heck of lot of fun, and is it me, or are the cars running an "old school" NFS handling engine, I hope so, that mix of arcade fun and semi realistic inertia was one of the things that made them great, much better than the mad drift handlign of other Arcade games such as Ridge Racer, or even Criterions own Burnout.
Seems odd that it was Jesse and not Craig Sullivan though, as Craig handled E3 perfectly, and being a Brit myself, i kind of prefer a brit accent on my presentations.
nice to hear that the Dispatch Girl has the same voice actress as she Did In HP2, God Is In the Little details after all.
Are that Cop Bugatti and the Koenigsegg CCX Unlocked right at the beginning then like it appears?, if so then Holy Horsepower Batman! im REALLY going to need to get in some serious practice with the PS3 Pad (ive also got 360, and my fingers are currently used to the chunky controller on that rather than the slimine ps3 pad)
NFS has always been a ps franchise.
Great Graphics, a Massive offline SP mode, AND a Freinds list lockable Online that means im not going to suffer the massive bullying problems of other games and may even be able to come online with HP myself.
WOW! keep up the good work EA and Criterion. my pre orders in, just the LOOONG wait to nov 19 to go (why do the Americans get a British Programmed game 3 days before the British By the way?) .
P.S Any Chance of a New "High Stakes" somewere in the Future from "Sunny Guildford" ?

Jesse was playing on another console off-camera, you can see the controller in his hand.
