Trying to top the F1

Is it possible to improve on a vehicle as perfect as the - featured in SHIFT - McLaren F1? McLaren thinks so, with their newest effort, the MP4-12C, making landfall in 2011 as a production model.

In this cool video produced in-house by McLaren Automotive, we get an insider's look at the amount of effort that goes into building the world's next supercar.

The video is the first in hopefully a series of looks at the MP4-12C, so take a look.

Just as a quick aside, the MP4-12C packs 600 horsepower in its 3.8-liter V8 and part of its testing took it to the Top Gear test track - that's one video I'd love to get my hands on.
