With the launch of the SHIFT Team Racing Pack it's time to start a new competition; therefore, I am pleased to announce the Toyota Supra Drift Competition! It's time to prove that you're a better drifter than everyone else. If you're the best, you'll win a console of your choice (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or Nintendo Wii).

This competition is very similar to the NFS Hot Lap competition. To enter, all you need to do is record a video of your drift run using the 1998 TOYOTA SUPRA MARK IV on the London Millennium track and post it as a video response to my run. The player with the highest drift score will be declared the winner.

Here is where you can find my drift run and post your entry / video response.

This competition will run for just over two weeks; we will stop accepting entries at 11:59pm December 17th. The winner will be announced December 18th so keep your eye on NeedforSpeed.com.

The competition rules are as follows:

1. You must use the 1998 TOYOTA SUPRA MARK IV as your drift car.
2. You may install any in-game performance upgrade or visual modification.
3. You must use the London Millennium track for your drift run.
4. Your entry video must be of sufficient quality to show your live drift run and clearly show your drift score (in the in-game heads up display) from the beginning of the run.
5. Replays that do not display the drift score / in-game heads up display at any point during the run WILL NOT be accepted.
6. Entries will be accepted from all consoles (PC, Xbox 360 & PS3).

7. This competition is only open to residents of NORTH AMERICA
8. WINNING CONDITION: The player with the highest drift score after ONE run will be declared the winner of the competition. In the event of a tie, the two top players will have ONE WEEK (7 days) to submit a new entry with a higher score. If no entries are made at the end of that period, the player who submitted their original entry first will be declared the winner.
9. Players may submit new video entries as many time as they like during the competition. However, only their top drift score will be counted as their official entry.
10. PRIZES: The winner of the competition will receive a console (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or Nintendo Wii) of their choice.
11. Competition closes at 11:59pm December 17th. Any videos submitted after WILL NOT be accepted. The winner will be announced December 18th.

Good luck!

Ok Thank you Drew, good looking out.

We really wanted to allow everyone in the world to be able to enter this competition but we are unable to because of the competition laws in Europe / Asia.
Most countries in Europe / Asia have laws against running competitions based on skill.
If we want to run a competition in Europe / Asia the winners must win as a result of a random draw and that kind of defeats the purpose of this competition.
It sucks that we can't open up this competition world wide...sorry guys!

Why is unable to send a price to Europe ??? Because I got a price from NFS Hot Lap Week 5 and I live in Europe in Slovakia and this competition is also focused as Hot Lap Weekly Challenge but with expensive prizes... Please Reply.

@Fearless The Team Racing Pack will be available for PS3 in North America on December 10th. Just two days away now! We deliberately scheduled the competition to run to next week to make sure that everyone on PS3 has a chance to enter the competition.

nid2265814343 .

There has to be a way around the competition laws, all this is gonna do is make the rest of the world feel like we have done for the last few nfs titles, and thats LEFT OUT like a leper!!!
Drifting is only done by those few who have the dedication to push themselves, EA should do the same with this comp, Guts effort is what we call it in Oz, there Has to be a way around this crap!!

what happened to the coke zero photo contest?

@Sh1ftNto6th2 - You can use any handy cam, cell phone camera, Frapps...basically anything that records video.
@King1993 - I know. Please see my comments below about why we can't run the competition outside North America.
@redninja09 - It's the TOYOTA SUPRA DRIFT COMPETITION so you need to drive the TOYOTA SUPRA. Don't really need to say anything more...
