To say that the weekly challenge has started off with a bang would be an understatement! In a span of about 48 hours there have been 16 video responses, and the time I posted (1:35.859) has been demolished by 14 seconds (no surprise there =P).
I wanted these challenges to help add an element of friendly competition to our channel, and most of all, to get people to have fun with the game. And let’s be serious, running these challenges allows me to play the game while at work, so I can’t really complain now can I? Haha! Anyway, the cool thing about community challenges is that I can tweak it from week-to-week to try and make it better. So when I received an email from a Need for Speed fan requesting that we give away a prize to a random entry, I thought it was a great idea. He said that by doing this the challenge will promote participation from all levels of gamers, which is exactly what this challenge should be about. So I want to give a big thanks to Andre for the suggestion!
Just so we’re clear, we’ll be doing a random prize draw of the entries for this week as well.
Oooooooooookay, so to sum this all up, there is now one more way for you to claim a prize. I’ll list all three just to be safe:
1. Post the top time by the cut-off time, which is Monday, 9am PST
2. Get your video the most views by Monday, 9am PST.
3. Simply post a video response (a winner will be picked at random)
So keep the entries coming and keep having fun!
