NFS Hot Lap - Week 4

We’re back for Week 4, only this time we’re here with a new name! You’ll notice that it is not being called the NFS Weekly YouTube Challenge (it was TOOOOO LOOOOONG), so we asked our community to come up with new names. We had a lot of suggestions, and after mulling it over and posting a quick poll on Facebook, the name that emerged when the dust settled was NFS Hot Lap. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Last week we had A LOT of good times posted. The fastest lap entered was a full 30 seconds faster than my time. That’s impressive on your guys’ part, and extremely depressing on my part =P The most viewed managed to get a ridiculous 700+ views, which is just incredible. You can check out all three winning videos in the Week 3 Winners blog post!

Alright gang, onwards to this week’s contest! You know the drill by now: I post my video to the NFS YouTube channel, and anyone who wants to beat my time can record their own video and post it as a video response to mine. The contest will run until Monday, November 9th, 9am PST, so be sure to submit your entries by then.

For the Week 4 challenge, we’ve got the following …
Car: Lamborghini Murcielago
Track: Tokyo Circuit

As usual, there will be 3 winners:
1.    Best lap time
2.    Most viewed video
3.    Random draw (just have to post a video response to be eligible)

Make sure to use the same car and track, keep it to one lap per video, and however you choose to record it, make sure your final time is clearly readable. Post it to your YouTube account and submit it as a response to our Week 3 video (embedded below). And, there’s no limit to the number of video responses you can post, so if you see your best time beaten by someone else, get back in and record a better one. And to make your video easier to track, please remember to tag it with NFS and put a link to needforspeed.com in the video’s description.

Heads up: In December we’ll be doing an NFS Hot Lap with NITRO :) So practice up!
