NFS Hot Lap – Week 13

Well, as it was stated in the wrap-up blog post for last week, Week 12 saw the highest number of entries the Hot Lap has ever seen! Again, we saw 50 responses filter through, which is absolutely incredible! But with every ending comes a new beginning (how cheesy was THAT?! Whatever – it’s the new year so I had to throw SOMETHING in about new beginnings, right?!). And that new beginning is Week 13!

As a lot of you already know the car this week is the Bugatti. This week will be difficult because it’s on a pretty tight track: Dakota GP. I ran a reasonably good time (for me, at least), but I’m sure you guys will be able to put it to shame :)

A reminder about the recent format change, and one slight new change:

1. Old change: The will be one prize and it will be determined via random draw, and the person with the fastest lap time will be allowed to choose the CAR AND TRACK for the an upcoming NFS Hot Lap challenge

2. New change: Only one entry per recorded lap.

So, again, the car and track!
Car: Bugatti Veyron 16.4
Track: Dakota GP

The usual:
Make sure to use the same car and track, keep it to one lap per video, make sure the FULL LAP is recorded, and however you choose to record it, make sure your final time is clearly readable. Post it to your YouTube account and submit it as a response to our Week 13 video (embedded below). And, there’s no limit to the number of video responses you can post, so if you see your best time beaten by someone else, get back in and record a better one. And to make your video easier to track, please remember to tag it with NFS and put a link to needforspeed.com in the video’s description.
