NEED FOR SPEED SHIFT GETS PERFECT 5/5 SCORE FROM G4

i like all nfs games, to all the hater saying this & that should just stop hating<---- NFS:SHIFT ROCKS

nit is true it's not like prvious need for speed it's ea's version of gran turismo with added car improvements is what i think is ok game first teir i managed ok struggling a bit now with teir 2 lol

people they have to make a game like underground 1&2 but bettered for the new consoles...they really have to!!!
hope that all of you think the same than me!!

how come I can't do hot laps for as many laps as I want? should be standard for a racing game lol.

Hmmm! 5 out of 5? does the reviewer work for ea by any chance?. after playing shift it it is clearly obvious that EA have only put effort into graphics and how they look! All the cars handle really bad, the dodge viper wont even pull off the line no matter how you rev the engine, I paid extra so i could unlock a bmw m3 gt2 but i cant use it in the career, the engine sounds are really horrible, the speedo reads over 200 miles an hour but the game looks like you are only driving at about 15 miles an hour! if you come of the track the cars do not respond at all you get a warning for coming off even when you cant help it.! i agree with ja.mels, nfs is about street racing and cops, put the shift car selection and graphics with the handling of undercover and throw in a few cop challenges and a story and you would have a definite contender for a top nfs game, Shift has no autosculpt, another feature EA have done away with more to the pity! i think shift is a terrible driving game and EA should be seriously embarassed at even thinking of letting such a poor creation anywhere near the public! shame on you ea!

looks like EA have really screwed up this time!

well i think shift shouldnt have gotten that hihg iof a rating and i too have played all of them. and my top 3 are carbon, most wanted, and undercover. i liked pro street a little bc it still had a story line but i hated it because nfs is and was always about COPS and now that we dont have cops it pretty much worthless to play it. only the players that actually like nfs not the posers would really hate this game. i think that the developers and creaters need to get a little more creative and put cops back in and put a better story line in. i know for a fact from my studies that over 75% of people that i questioned said that it isnt one of the best becaue the developers have gone off course of the previous nfs games. so in that case Oz70nYC your an idiot for thinking that they have DONE RIGHT for the series because the have DONE WRONG for the series

They've finally done right by the NFS series. I've played every game since the very 1st one (Which was called "The Need For Speed") and Shift is definitely one of my personal top 5 of the series. It can only get better for it's obvious sequels. Way tp resurrect the series, EA.
