Need for Speed Hot Pursuit blew through the windy city of Chicago this past weekend for the second stop of its cross country On Tour series.   Just like the event held in New York a few weeks back, fans were in for a big treat as they got exclusive early access to Hot Pursuit, as well as the chance to stick around for an incredible party (during Lollapalooza weekend, nonetheless).

Taking place at the Debonair Social Club in the Wicker Park area of Chicago, the event kicked off at 7pm and for two hours was open exclusively to media, celebrity VIPS, and fans of Need for Speed who registered through the On Tour site.  This exclusive window gave us a good chance to have in depth conversations with our fans, media, and VIPs about what Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is all about.

Athletes and celebrities rolled through the event including Chicago Bulls center Taj Gibson, Buffalo Bulls Tight End Joe Klopfenstein, and rapper Rhymefest, who actually spit an amazing freestyle about Hot Pursuit which we’ll have a video of later this week.

As the exclusive two hour window wound down, outside the venue folks were gathering in droves waiting for their chance to get in.  As folks waited in line for their chance to get inside the party, there was plenty of eye candy outside for them.  Posing for some photos in the life-sized display case were none other than our lovely cop and racer duo Melanie and Vanessa.  And, parked right out in front of the venue were their vehicles, which garnered just as much attention as the ladies did throughout the night.

As the venue continued to fill up to capacity, Danny Masterson, formerly of ‘That 70’s Show’ TV series arrived to the party and was ready to start off his headlining set.  The crowd around the DJ booth got packed as Danny, who goes by DJ Momjeans, rocked the party.

The event went well into the night and at no point were the Hot Pursuit kiosks ever empty, which showed just how much fun everyone at the party was having playing the game.  Overall, the Hot Pursuit On Tour event in Chicago was once again an amazing success, and we look forward to taking the game to our next city!

Remember, if you’d like a chance to experience Need for Speed Hot Pursuit On Tour, make sure to register early right HERE!
