We've been planning it for ages but finally we're able to bring you our first ever Need for Speed community podcast. Each week Drew and I, along with special guests, will be sitting down in the studio at EA Canada and chatting about all things Need for Speed. Our plan is to make sure everyone listening knows about all the cool community events and competitions we're running and has a bit of a laugh in the process. If you've got any questions about the game or just want to get in touch and hear your name on the podcast send us a message at Andrew@NeedforSpeed.com.

EA need a better error reporting system other than just relying on the community input. Community input is good for I wish/want list, community events, and a whole host of other fanaticism related things. But when it comes to the technical debugging side of programs, the community would be better served if there were an error reporting system that reported directly report back to the developers/programmers. I propose that EA implement in there programs an error reporting system similar to that of Microsoft's error reporting system..

@ Krakatoa - I can understand your frustration about the issue. Over the past few weeks we've spent a lot of time reviewing the major forums to see what issues people are experiencing and then forwarding them to the game team. Once the team have got the issues list they can work through it and determine what they can fix within a realistic time-frame. It's a fine line between getting some out for people to download and use quickly verses spending a bit extra time and doing more in-depth fixes. As soon as we hear from the game team about the progress we'll update here on the website.
It's worth noting that the guys who write and work on the web-site are a different team from the guys who work on the SHIFT team so don't worry that by doing things like podcasts it means we're not working on any fixes as that isn't the case; all of us are hard at work just on different departments and roles within the NeedforSpeed world. Hope this helps.

Congradulations on the first podcast ... but too many people including myself to gush with adoration at you.... The only thing I care about is when are you gonna fix the gltches. In summery .... cars not working , advance tuning glitching cars, bouncing rearends, & thats just the console versions... the PC gets the benifit of having major graphic card problems an just plain not booting. The only thing I want to know & really want to hear about is when are you gonna fix the game. When? what? how? fixes first ... then all the fun stuff thank you.
