Mad Mike Wins Best Looking Car of 2010

It's a huge honor, but not that big of a surprise to learn that Team Need for Speed's Mad Mike Whiddett and his Bad Bul Mazda RX-8 have taken the award for "Best Looking Car" of the Formula Drift 2010 season. Ever since it made it's debut at Long Beach for the first event of the season, Mad Mike's RX-8 has been one of the most talked about cars among fans and drifting enthusiasts. Congratulations to Mike, livery designer Andy Blackmore, and the entire crew at Team Need for Speed for this awesome recognition. After learning of the recognition, Andy Blackmore commented:

“It was great to hear the Team Need for Speed/Red Bull RX-8 won best looking car of 2010 at the Forumula Drift awards. The livery was only part of the overall look of the car, but at the time it was quite a challenge to get our Team Need for Speed livery working with the Red Bull branding, but I am very pleased with the way it came out and this has helped make the Team Need for Speed brand instantly recognizable in less than a season.
