Armed with legendary 454 power, the Chevelle is arguably one of the top muscle cars of all time. The 1970 Chevelle SS utilized an ingeniously designed cowl induction hood to increase horsepower, which is why there are few other muscle cars that could rival the power of this super sport optioned model.

The 1970 Chevelle LS 454 remains one of the highest collected muscle cars of all time. Get yours today in the Car Dealer!

While it is true, that the Chevy Chevelle SS is still one of the most sought after cars, since autos were introduced in the USA, the notion that it was a fast auto, is largely dispelled by the cars most Law Enforcement officers drove, during the 1970s. That car was from Chrysler (Plymouth), and was the Fury series, being introduced in four grades: Fury I, Fury II, Fury III, and Grand Fury. The Fury series was originally marketed to police depts, County Sheriffs, and State Patrols, as an answer to many of the civilian owned/driven muscle cars; which came from Chevy, Ford, as well as from Chrysler, plus from Pontiac, (a General Motors division, like Chevy). The Fury was designed to be simply faster than what was out there, due mainly to Chrysler going slightly over-board in equiping it, straight from the factory. I own a 1985 Grand Fury, which has the biggest V8 Chrysler ever made, which delivers power through a 3-speed automatic transmission, to the rear end. My car is originally an Oklahoma Highway Patrol cruiser, with a top end of slightly less than 170mph; although I have yet to drive it faster than 140mph.
It came equipped with a Positrack Rearend, to which I added an Anti-lock Brake System, so I wouldn't have problems braking while slowing down for tight curves; which did plague many older muscle cars.
Personally, I would like to see NFSW add the Fury Series as a car we players could buy, although I would also ask that NFSW make it a bit faster than the average "cop car", which is now in the game.

Thank you for your indulgence.
