Here it is, folks, the final chapter of NFSRon's interview with Speedhunters and Team Need for Speed photographer Linhbergh. Articles 1, 2, 3 and 4 are also available for your reading pleasure.

Ron:  So what’s the coolest place that you’ve got to shoot as a result of working with Speedhunters.

Linhbergh: By far the coolest place I’ve ever been to was Bonneville.  It is the most out of this world place that you could ever go to.  There’s no sense of speed at all. You see these little tiny cars that go 300-400 mph but it looks like they’re going 60 and its just mind boggling.  The people are crazy, and nice, and it’s just one of the coolest places I’ve ever been to.

Ron:  So what are your tips for aspiring automotive photographers or for anyone trying to get their photos out there.

Linhbergh:  I’ve actually been writing a blog for Speedhunters that answers this same question.  The key point in that post is to stay hungry.  And what that means is just to see what you want, and to do whatever you can in your power to get there.  It’s like being a 4 year old child again, and you see some ice cream and really want that ice cream, and as a 4 year old child you’re going to kick and scream and yell  and do whatever you can until you get that ice cream.

Now you just need to apply that 4 year old mentality to your photography.  If you want to shoot for Speedhunters, or for Team Need for Speed do everything in your power to get there.  Work hard, sacrifice, everything.  It’s all a mind game, because it doesn’t matter if you have all the talent, because we don’t have determination you’ll never get that ice cream.

Ron: lastly, getting a little geeky here, you don’t hide your EXIF data. Yet there are a lot of photographers out there who are very protective of that type of information.  What’s your take on that?

Linhbergh: I don’t think there’s any reason to hide EXIF data, because when you see that data it says nothing about the photo it says absolutely nothing about it.  It may give you a reference point that shows you how a person shot something, but it doesn’t show you composition, color, or other things that you can’t see in EXIF.
