Today's Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Car of the Day is the McLaren MP4-12C. 

As the fourth roadworthy car ever produced by McLaren, the MP4-12C has quite a standard – set by the F1, F1 LM and SLR – to live up to, but with a 600-horse twin-turbo V8, this car lets its performance do the talking.

thanks terminator, actually, there are a LOT of us old school NFS fans, especially in the uk and europe, just not many on forums as were older (early 20's and on) , most have jobs, the problem with the forums is, they mainly attract younger users (14 and less), so you get a lot of underground fans (ugg), however, keep youre eyes out for Tgomola, bl4ksh4rk, Phantompain, and ssj-1goku, those guys are MASSIVE classic fans like us, and great for a good conversation about the first 6 games. :)

in the meantime. i love the new coastal area, that sunset is gorgeous, so dramatic. suits the car down to the ground.

better burnout Paradise than the rubbish thats been coming outta black box since 2003.

they killed NFS, end of, they buetifull scenery and epic cars, GONE! the Fun, GONE! replaced with gritty urban kewl, darnit, if i want riced peugeots, ill go to huddersfeild! if i want exotic cars on fantastic roads, ill put one of the first 6 NFS games in.

as far as im concerned, if combining a Bit of Burnout Paradise with the classic NFS formula is the Only way to save the franchise from bodykit flavoured doom, then, its a VERY small price to play

Burnout Paradise is a fantastic looking, beautifully made, hugely entertaining videogame that really moved the racing genre on, wich actually sounds like the formula for the first 4 NFS games actually

anyway, you actually even bothered to play the game?, gone to germany or one of the american events?, no, then shut up! Rent it first, and moan later. and if youre that stuck up fast and furiouses bottom that you think 268 MPH supercars "iz borin" then go and play midnight club, because us old school fans, like criterion, dont want you here pooping our NFS renuion party with youre insesseant "ooh, its all boring supercars and too like burnout!" whingeing,.

how does it look like paradise? what because it aint got hatchbacks and a ghetto, Geddouddahere! NFS was never about that, it was about THIS, Stunning cars and Fantastic Scenery

this looks great, the Mp4-12-C is a stunning car, and theyve got the curves just right, and its great to see the new coastal (wich is bringing to mind the rural section of aquatica/atlantica) section instead of just national forest, that sunset is BEAUTIFULL.

just look at it, the game looks like its doing 200 MPH even in a screenshot.

also, pain, a new user, blackshark has revealed the car list is probably a fake, its full of typos, and the fact it talks about NFS SHIFT not, NFS HOT PURSUIT makes it look like the work of some mad german kid who has never played a classic, has probably made it up with an unholy hybrid of NFS Undercover, this COTD, the old fan car wishlist (hence the carbon e7 and the crown vic) my own fan project, and the traffic car database. so dont worry, there is going to be a lot more of THIS, and non of that..
