The Green Hell

For those of you who don't know, the grueling Nurburgring 24 Hours is this weekend. One of the single most challenging tracks on the planet will play host to over 100 drivers as they compete in what is always an incredible race.

Team Need For Speed will be present in the BMW Z4 GT3, featuring Tommy Milner. Above, you'll see truly epic video of a practice lap he did a few weeks ago at The 'Ring. Take special note of a few things in this video: Notice that there's not a lot of sudden movement with the car, he's quick, but smooth. Also worth noting is how violent it is. Watch the car shake as it goes through the Karussell.

I am still blown away that EA decided to not include this track configuration used for 24 hour/GT3 events of Nordshleife in NFS S2U for the endurance and GT3 disciplines although the Nurburgring souther tracks were included in NFS S2U.

All the entrances and exits to connect the Nordshleife (before and after start/finish line) with the Nurburgring southern track (located on last turn of Nurburgring GP) are present in the game, BUT SEPARATED BY BARRIERS!

FYI: Although I purchased the LE NFS S2U for PS3, and the Legends, and Speedhunters DLCs, I would gladly pony up for another DLC that would join the Nordschleife with the Southern Nurburgring track, and if anyone at EA is listening please include the old Monza track with the banks as they are already there and can be driven in tuning/test mode.
