We were fortunate enough this week here at Need for Speed to be invited by Need for Speed World producer Marc De Vellis - who raced professionally - and Bullet Racing to take part in an open track day hosted by Pacific Western Performance at Mission Raceway, about an hour from the EA Canada studio in Burnaby.
It took us about one second to say we'd go. There will be plenty of new stories - including a brand new Ask Marc - in the coming days, but first, we thought we'd give an insider's look into how the day came together.

It was done to point out things the drivers should be watching out for when they get on the track (irregularities, unexpected things, etc). The drivers all asked lots of questions, so they appeared to get plenty out of it.

> Before anyone got on the track, we walked around the course Walked? Why not a "taxi" drive as is done on other race courses? You're not going to get much feedback from walking.
