The Cover Stars of Hot Pursuit

After Need for Speed Hot Pursuit was announced last week at E3, we've been inundated with requests for information about the two cover cars, the Pagani Zonda Cinque and Lamborghini Reventon, so here's a little more about them. 

As most SHIFT fans know, the Zonda is not a street-legal car in North America, so the Cinque is Pagani's answer to that demand. Only five were ever built, with all going to a Pagani dealer in Hong Kong. Cinque is the first Zonda to use a clutchless transmission, with shifts taking less than 100 milliseconds. In terms of raw power, Cinque's 7.3-liter AMG V12 pounds out 678 horsepower and races from 0-60 in a mere 3.4 seconds, more than enough to evade nearly any cop.

Except possibly the Reventon police cruiser. With its slate gray exterior, sharp styling cues and Italian sports car passion that went into designing every square inch of its body, even standing still this car looks fast. But when you're playing Hot Pursuit starting November 16, and hear its 6.5-liter, 640-horse V12 bearing down on you with lights flashing, you'd better hope your ride can pull away.
