Yesterday we revealed three more cars in the upcoming Need for Speed NITRO, but today, we're kicking it up a notch and blowing eight more out the door for your viewing pleasure. All cars are rated on a 1-5 scale in speed, acceleration, strength, handling and drifting ability.

First, we have one of the most sought-after performance cars on the market today, the new Shelby GT500.

Next up is the counterculture icon that first appeared as a drivable vehicle in Need for Speed II back in 1997, the Volkswagen Westfalia van.

Getting back to the serious performance vehicles, we have one of the finest cars ever built in Japan, the Nissan Skyline R-34.

The next revealed vehicle today is my personal favorite, and I'm thrilled they were able to put it in the game, the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T.

Next up, we have another performance icon and frankly, one of the most strikingly beautiful cars ever built, the 1968 Chevrolet Corvette.

The sixth reveal of the day is fast becoming a favorite of online and offline players in SHIFT, the Audi R8.

Next up, we head over to France, and one of the most interesting cars to be included in NITRO, the Renault 4L.

Why do half of them look pretty nice, good cartoony representations (like the Audi) and the other half look all out of proportion (like the lambo)? It's like two different modellers are working on the cars.
