AMG. Those three letters make car buffs quiver with delight. Mercedes-Benz has been building the AMG line of performance cars since the late-1960s as racing vehicles, and mid-80s as coupes, sedans and convertibles for the general public.
You'd be hard-pressed to find better-performing cars than the AMG line for the money.
The SL65 AMG is a sleek and sexy two-door hardtop convertible which is priced at about $180,000. But for the price, you get a lot of car - its BiTurbo V12 churns out 604 horsepower and an unheard-of 712 foot-pounds of torque.
The SL65 packs some serious German muscle and is one of 72 cars available in SHIFT. Just remember, a feather-touch on the gas pedal will keep you out of trouble.
