Announcing the next Need for Speed World Beta

We are very happy to announce the next Need for Speed World beta!  The next NFS World beta will begin on Friday, May 14th @ 9am (PDT) and will continue through the weekend ending Sunday, May 16th @ 11:59pm (PDT).   

We are also very happy to announce that everyone who participated in the previous betas will be invited to participate in this weekend’s beta.  Furthermore, we’ll be inviting an additional 20,000 people into this beta.  It’s going to be a big one so watch your inbox for the invite.

This beta will feature the newest NFS World client that was tested during the Client Test at the end of April.  We believe we have resolved the majority of the bugs that occurred during the Client Test and are now ready to use this client in a large beta.  Please be aware that you will be required to remove / uninstall previous versions of Need for Speed World from your PC.  Once uninstalled, please download the new setup.exe from World.NeedforSpeed.com and re-install.

Some of the new features in this release include new Power-Ups, new cars, improved police encounters, visual updates to the world, and performance / stability optimization.  The most important addition will be the ability to purchase Power-Ups using the Need for Speed World in-game currency called SpeedBoost .  We’ll be posting the RELEASE NOTES & KNOWN BUGS LIST before the beta begins so stay tuned…

Yo guys, i think you should add body kit costumization to this a little. at least wheels. some rims. neons. later we can go into sound sistem costumization just like in NFSU2, that will be great.

there were some bugs for example invisible parts of police corvettes when u hit them
and some "crashes" at the start of race

Yes .... The maps from NFSU & NFSU2 - Olympic City and Bayview City have to be added as expansions !!!! Just think EA, put those 2 cities and add neons to the cars, so that the expansion deliver the ideea of the night tunner culture NFSUnderground had .... it would be an awesome expansion !!! I dont care if i dont get the change to play the game in Betas, i dont care, i prefer to wait for the final release, but please consider OUR IDEAS EA !!!! Those City's would be an awesome expansion ..... we all want this !!!
