50 Years of MIni - a Love Story

Around the office I'm known as a bit of a Mini nut. If someone has a Mini in the office I'll know them and if someone finds something cool about Mini's online they'll almost certainly email it to me...it's like having my own human RSS feed. This week fellow-blogger Wylie Styles sent me a link to a fantastic video called "50 Years of Mini" so earlier today I sat down to watch the film while having my sandwiches (cheese and pickle; another English classic). After 15 fantastic minutes I thought it was well worth sharing this. Even if you're not a fan of these wonderful little cars, it really talks to anyone of us who have a passion about cars whether you own a Mini, a Mazda or a Maserati.

I'd love to get the car in SHIFT but we have absolutely no chance of that sadly. I keep pressing the car guys to get the MIni back as it's the only way I'm going to drive the JCW.

Great little cars! I've driven one for a couple of months (a 1995 1.3i Cooper), definately great fun to drive! I'll probably buy another one some day (a classic Mini offcourse, which is still way cooler than the BMW Mini).
