Need for Speed The Run PC Patch Available Now and it comes with a Special Bonus!

It's been a long time in the making but today we're very happy to say that Need for Speed The Run patch is now available.  Here are some highlights of the updates in the patch, but for a full list visit the Need for Speed "Downloads" page:

- 30 FPS cap is disabled when v-sync is set to OFF in advanced display settings
- Tweaked reset behavior for a number of tracks in The Run where resets seemed too close to the main race route
- When players go off track, they will be reset back onto the track instead of at the last checkpoint.  Crashes will still result in a reset to the last checkpoint.
- Added Quick Match option from multiplayer menu
– Players now have the option to mute VOIP of other players in multiplayer sessions
– Reduced unrealistic behaviors when multiplayer opponents drive off-road or collide with world objects
- Autolog Friends now displays whether a friend is online, joinable or offline in player badge

We're also very excited to announce that not only will PC players get all the updates; they'll also get all the Signature Edition Booster Pack cars!  You'll be able to take on The Run, challenge Series or your friends in multiplayer with these signature rides:

To get the patch simply login to Origin on your PC and it will automatically download / install the patch.

Very good! But should we expect on the PC release of "Italian Edition" DLC? I want to see Diablo in my game :D

If it will not be available for the PC, it would upset a lot of players :<

P.S. "Fatlace" Skyline is Tier 6 car and race with Huayra and Venom, JDM is so JDM :3

Great got the patch and shut the vsync off. Framrates about 88, NICE. Got a few questions though.
1 - Where are the new cars?
2- Why is there a rooster tail of snow now on the snow tracks? I use the far view and my own rooster tail will white out the screen and it isn't always in the right spot. On a turn it is straight behind then on a straight area it is too the side, LOL.
3- Why are there speaker lights lighting up when no-one is talking?
4- Is there a patch that will take care of it later?
5- Where is our DLC of the cars? Only hackers have them now.

Patch does seem to help a little and glad to see that us PC guys were not totally ignored.

How do you get the FPS to display on your gaming screen? I have an 4870x2 OC'd and can't confirm if the patch actually took when V-sync is off, because I can't get an FPS meter in the game.

My Thrustmaster Universal Challenge wheel no longer works as it is now a gamepad instead of a wheel. The game still doesn't recognize my Steelseries SRW-S1 wheel.. Maybe you should spend more time working on game play and less on DLC packs that no one will buy because we can't actually play the game.

I`m just wondering, how does the other player muting work in MP games? Because I haven't seen any button prompt for that function or an explicit option in the options menu.

Does this fix the retina-searing sun in San Fran in Eyefinity/Surround? 30 seconds on those tracks and I swear I can hear sizzling....
