In 2014, Porsche are saving the planet with a car that combines insane performance with sensible fuel efficiency.
The 918 Spyder will hit 60 mph in 3.2s thanks to a 500 horsepower V8 with an additional 218 horsepower kick from dual electric motors.
Despite the wild speed and acceleration, our friends at Porsche reckon the 918 can wring 94 miles out of every gallon.
We're unlikely to get our hands on the real thing anytime this year, but Need for Speed fans will be driving the 918 on 360, PS3 and PC by 30th October 2012.
