The Need for Speed Hot Pursuit demo is due out today!

In the demo you’ll be able to chase as a cop in the Dark Horse Hot Pursuit event, speeding through the coastal highway and mountainous ridges of Seacrest County. Once you add a friend to their Need for Speed friends list, the second event will unlock called Roadster’s Reborn, where you’ll compete as racers to set the best times. When you download and play the demo you will also earn 500 bounty award points in the full game for both Cop and Racer careers.

Xbox download instructions:
Click through to the NFSHP site to download the demo so it's ready when you get home!

PSN download instruction:
Scroll to the “Network” menu and choose “PLAYSTATION Store”
Select "Games"
Select "Game Demos"
Scroll to find the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit demo and click “Download”
If you cannot find the demo that way, go to the top of the screen, click "Search" and type in "Hot Pursuit" and it should be in your results
Click "Perform in Background" to continue browsing or to leave the PlayStation Store
When the demo finishes downloading, you can install it by clicking on the game icon in the Game section of the Main Menu

Please note that PSN will be updating around 2-5pm PST, which is when PlayStation 3 users will have access to the NFSHP demo.

Hey. Im running 2 9800GTX+s. Im I right to assume that this is plenty to max the game or will this be using dx11 and other newer tech. Also will this be using the Ray-Tracing demonstration that nvidia released a while back. That was NFS so is it this NFS?

my demo doesnt work..
first it says that i must be connected to playstation network and ea account then after i connect in my laptop to ea account it shows to me the terms and conditions and says continue.. i press continue and the demo is over WTF!!

Sadly there's no way to see how well my computer can run this game too.

We would've loved to see it for the PC as well, but we couldn't sacrifice the resources to come off the full game. Comparatively speaking, PC demos need more resources than PS3 or XBOX because we need to ensure it would run smoothly on a wide variety of systems. Because we wanted the full game to be of the highest quality possible, we kept all our resources on that instead of creating a demo. It wasn't our ideal situation, but it's the decision we made. We think you'll believe this was ultimately the right decision when you see the quality of the game when it's released. I hope you can understand :)
