The Complete Need for Speed SHIFT Tracklist
It's been a busy day for Need for Speed fans today with the team announcing this year's coverstar; the BMW M3 GT-2 and the entire car list for SHIFT. If this wasn't enough we've got hold of SHIFT's full Track list. As the press release says: "Need for Speed SHIFT features over 50 unique layouts across 18 tracks including real-world locations and fictional circuits. Players can race on world-renowned tracks like the grueling 20 km Nordschleife or meticulously-designed fictional circuits found in Glendale with its steep grades, hairpin corners and blind crests." So, a great range of courses; some real-life classics while others come straight from the design minds of the SMS team. The courses were chosen based on a combination of racing heritage so popular tracks such as Laguna Seca and the Nurburgring were obvious choices for the team. Here's teh complete list. We'll be investigating the tracks in over the next few months with video drive-throughs and screens galore in future updates at NeedforSpeed.com. In the meantime let us know what you think to the range of course? As with the car list we're really keen to know. I have been finding all the maps and cars chocies are very nice, I like it cause even though the map picks my car auotmatically and I can still win or at least get 2nd or 3rd a bounus. Fun to drive a manual and take over most cars at the starting line.

I would like to drive a Mini Cooper John Cooper Works. If you add that car to the list, I would buy it for sure. And congratulations for bringing in the Lotus Exige S that's a very nice car!

Kuro, One of the layouts of the legendary Nordschleife is the Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit, so it should be in the game.

What the hell? What do you mean where's Nürbugring?
It's right there, Nürburgring Nordschleife. It's not the old circuit, but this one is much more challenging.
And the Laguna Seca is also there, incubusjax.
You really need to pay more attention to the list.
The list has great tracks, both old and new, but it's kinda small for a racing simulator.
It should be at least 30, not 18.
