"Mad" Mike Whiddett is a 28 year old Auckland, New Zealand born professional drifter that has been on moto-x bikes since the age of 6. The founder of Asphalt Assault, Rotang Klan, MadMikeMotorsports, and owner of CRE8GRAFX, he also holds the NZ record for biggest pitbike jump off a full size kicker at 60 feet!After breaking almost every structural bone in his body he has decided to keep himself on the ground. While competing in rally, speedway, and dirt track, he found his home in the seat of a custom drift spec 96 FD3 RX-7, which he built from the ground up. Now fully backed by Need for Speed and Red Bull, his job is competing all over the globe in his RX-7 and two other pro spec Mazda rotary-powered Drift cars. 2010 will see Mike competing at the Red Bull and Formula Drift Championships to claim the World Drift King title.
