Everything began with a competition. When Teknikens Varld were on the lookout for new racing talent they got 450 answers. Of these, 10 finalists were chosen and they were selected by different methods to try to find one who could actually become a racing driver. The first prize was a full season in the youth class JTCC, where everyone drives identical Volvo S40 cars. When the final day was over, Edward Sandstrom emerged as the clear overall winner. Edward, who had earlier driven some go-carts, was given the unique chance to take the step to bigger competition cars. The rest is history.
