We had an overwhelming amount of entries for our latest Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Photo Mode Challenge around the theme of Battle! Battle! Battle! One word to describe the submissions – Amazing…err Battle!

We’ve been collecting your entries for two weeks and now it’s time to vote. Since there are so many, we’re going to break them up into 7 days of albums for voting on Facebook. The photo with the most votes (“likes”) from each day will go onto a final round the following week. When you see your photo come up, call in some favors and get everyone you know to vote for ya :-)

It’s finally Friday. We’ve got great weather here on the West Coast so and we hope it’s the same wherever you live! Before you run out of the office for the weekend, rack up an extra hour and check out our Week in Review.

Burnout Crash! came out this week! If you haven’t downloaded it yet, definitely watch the hilarious video starring The Hoff and take part in our new High Score Challenge.

We’re steadily inching closer to the release of Need For Speed The Run, but to hold you over for another week, we put out an awesome story trailer for you to feast your eyes on. There are also a couple of unannounced cars in there too!

Speaking of cars we have announced, take a look at the Nissan GT-R SpecV (R35), Chevrolet Camaro SS, and the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. When you’re done with those, check out what will be chasing them: the Dodge Charger SRT8 Police car.

Also, we wanted to know which you prefer: the Skyline GT-R (R32) or the GT-R SpecV (R35).

Lastly with The Run, NFSDrew sat down with two Art Directors to talk about their influences for the game.

We’re also still running our Battle! Battle! Battle! Photo Contest so make sure to enter that. We’ve got some of our favorite early entries here.

Need For Speed World added the gorgeous Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR 722 Art Director car, and the Chevrolet Chevelle.

There was also a new Ask Marc, now up to 51 episodes!

We've seen so many great entires for our Photo Contests that we think it's about time we run another one!

Using Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, our new theme is "Battle! Battle! Battle!" (say it fast, it's awesome).

We want to see your finest interpretations of a battle in Hot Pursuit. Are you dicing it up in the oncoming lane with another car? Are you shoving a Veyron off the road? Let us see your take on it by tweeting us pictures! As you've shown us in the past, there are tons of possibilites, so be creative!

Entering the contest is simple:

1) Take a photo of your car in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit that you think could be described as "Battle! Battle! Battle!"

2) Login to Autolog on www.hotpursuit.needforspeed.com and download as many of your pictures as you want from the Gallery section.

3) Twitpic them to @NeedForSpeed with the following hashtag: #NFSHP_Photos

And that’s it! You’re entered!

At the end of two weeks, we’ll create a Facebook album with all of the entries, allowing everyone to vote on who the winner should be. The one with the most “likes” gets the prize and notoriety among the 3.8+ million Need for Speed Facebook fans!

Last week, we wrapped up the "Death From Above" themed photo mode challenge, and since you guys sent in such amazing entries, we thought it's time for another one. As you know, today we unveiled the latest Need for Speed The Run trailer, called Buried Alive, and so that's the theme for this new challenge. Feel free to get as creative as you want -- anything from snow drifts on Eagle Crest to a big car pileup in a pursuit. Starting today, you can send in as many entries as you like. We'll keep the challenge open for two weeks until Tuesday, August 30th, at which point we'll move the photos to our Facebook page for voting.

Here's how you enter:
1) Take some photos in Hot Pursuit that you think fit the "Buried Alive" theme.
2) Log into the Hot Pursuit site with your Autolog account, and download your photos from the PHOTOS section.
3) Twitpic your photos to @NeedForSpeed with the #NFSHP_Photo hashtag.

That's it, simple as that. Good luck and we can't wait to see all your pictures!

For weeks you guys submitted your photos to our Twitter page, all depicting your best interpretation of "Death From Above!" 

After hundreds of entries, five Facebook albums, two weeks of voting and one round of finalists, a winner has emerged! Congratulations to Dre21011 who snapped an epic moment right as a Gumpert Apollo plows through a Koenigsegg with a helicopter hot on the tail of it all! Voted by the community as the best picture, Dre21011 won by a small landslide. 

Dre21011 has won notoriety this time, but keep your eyes peeled to our Facebook and Twitter pages as this won't be our last photo contest!

We asked you to give us your best interpreation of "Death From Above" and send it to us on Twitter with the hashtag #NFSHP_Photos. After two weeks, we had so many that we're going to break it up into five days of voting. The winner (photo with the most votes) of each day will then be put in one final album next week! 

If you don't see yours, be patient as it most likely will be in one of the next albums. 

Make sure to tell your friends to go to the album and "Like" your photo! Give yourself as much shameless self-promotion as you need to get those votes up!
