As we all return from holiday, Need for Speed is getting back into the swing of things, but expect some great content coming up in 2012!
This week we wanted to hear all about your favorite cars from 2011, and what you’re looking forward to most in 2012.
It was also your last chance to enter the holiday-themed Photo Mode Challenge. We revealed the finalists for the ‘Recreate The Run Cover Art’ Photo Mode challenge, vote now!
We kicked off a brand new Time Attack challenge this week. NFSCoulter ran a time of 2:41.07 on “NFS Showdown > Plains Interstate” Challenge Series. Can you beat him? Enter now!
NFSCoulter shared his favorite video of 2011, one displaying the incredible control one man has at the Nurburgring. Have a favorite? We’re asking you guys to submit yours to us on Facebook and Twitter.
In Need for Speed World, the Shelby GT500 (and cover car to The Run), made its debut. NFSWorld also welcomed the Alfa Romeo C8 Competizione, the Lambrghini Murcielago LP640 “Treasure Hunter”, and the Jaguar XKR this week.
Also, our friends at NFSUnlimited.net are holding a “Find the Spot” contest that you should definitely check out.
Lastly, our podcast this week got a little crazy. We were all still in holiday mode, which made for some pretty entertaining conversation, covering our favorite movie car chases, and anticipated cars of 2012. The episode is now up on iTunes, our RSS feed.
